Traci’s love affair with hair was evident early on when she would routinely orchestrate hair make-over’s with childhood friends. Inadvertently, one of these childhood friends would later play a pivotal role in her budding career. After obtaining her cosmetology license, Traci began working with major celebs such as Aaliyah and Faith Evans. Soon, Traci would receive a call from long-time childhood friend, Marie Wright (Free, formerly of 106 & Park) who requested that Traci come on as her personal full-time hairstylist. BET took notice and offered Traci an official position as Free’s hairstylist. Traci would eventually go on to become the official hairstylist for the entire network. |
As an instructor for several prestigious hair conventions including, Bronner Brother Hair and the Premiere Show Group; Traci’s serious commitment to hair maintenance is paramount in her unique technique. “There is an art to weaving, “I like to blend the clients’ hair with personality pieces for a more natural finished look”.
